State Trust Lands Project and Activity Guidance for GeoTracks Applications
This document provides step-by-step agency-wide guidance for reporting State Trust Lands projects and activities in the Planner, GeoTracks Web and Mobile Applications. Details on batch linking projects to new DPA plan years are included.
Due to the required Work Plan due to the State Land Board in January, all planned projects and activities including details and spatial data for the upcoming calendar year must be entered by December 15.
General Notes:
If multiple phased activities are planned over one or more years, or if the activities will also be occurring on adjacent state, federal or private lands, enter Project information in the planner application. After that, create one or more Activities that will be part of the overall Project.
If the project extends over multiple ownerships other than State Land Board land, enter the treatment on state lands as its own Activity, with naming conventions and information required as per the State Trust Lands Project and Activity Guidance for GeoTracks Applications.
Work on other adjacent parcels should be entered as one or more other activities under the larger project.
Unique or one-time activities on state land can be entered as a single activity, and not tied to a larger project.
