Difference

The difference tool allows you to subtract one overlapping polygon from another.

Short cut: CTRL + D

The polygon you select first will be the one that is kept and the polygon that is selected second will be subtracted.

To use the difference tool, follow the steps outlined below:

1. Click the Open Transformations button on the Mapping tab.

2. Select the first polygon (kept) and the second polygon (subtracted) in the panel on the right or by clicking on the polygons in the map.

3. Click the Difference tool

4. Click Save
